Default Allmotor CRX finally at the track!

Cory thompson finaaly got his Allmotor crx to Bradenton last night. Made 2 passes. First one was 11.54 @113mph and then he waent 11.48@116mph. Not bad at all for the first time out. Still have to get a few things worked out and hopefully be in the 10's soon. Biggest thing that needs to be changed is it needs individual throttlebodys. that is a $2000 mod. It now has a custom 80 millimeter TB on it that still is not big enough. I cant realease the specs on the motor but it is built the same as you see in NHRA with the potential to make 330whp allmotor.

Sounds like a nice set up... I met him when he was with you at Collin's one day and he seemed to be a cool guy, so its good to hear his car turned out nicely.... Hopefully I'll get to see it run soon... Seems like a pretty sick all motor set up... Leon with the yellow all motor rex might need to step it up a bit!!! Give him my props and congratulations.....

Car was supposed to go 10's but he ran out of money for right now. From what i hear though it is quit a common problem. I"m sure some of you have run out of money before.

Damn, that's impressive. I remember Matt telling me that his car was going to be ready soon.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

This i what i can reveal. It's a B20 stroked. The motor has reved 10,000 many times. Currently it is reved to 8,500rpm. The car is making 150 torque at only 3,000rpm. Problem is it cant breath up top. the car needs alot more air. We must put individual tb's on it. It peaks hp at 7,500. So reving it past that point is useless. The head and rest of the motor are set up to flow up the 330whp. @ next stepps are the throttle bodys ($2000) and then to go to Alchohol for fuel ($2,000). These 2 mods should net around 50-60whp.
