im putting this out because i know nuthing.... actually im unfamiliar w/ non vtec tuninga nd what it consists of, im getting serious about purchasing stg 2 cams and doing all of the requireds ( p&p valve train etc) and have come to relize, with cams max power is gained through tuning. is it just air/fuel tuning or am i missing something, please help me out before i bite off more than i can chew

tuning cams for optimum power has alot more to do with timing than anything else... air fuel ratio, obviously is important, but largest gains will come from cam timing....

ls/vtec and keep 7k redline if your shortblock is stock. You will still make more power than 99% of non-vtec cams
