durability of stock axles

just wondering if anyone knows an exact amount of horse power that a stock honda axle can support, is it 200,250???

cause i have seen all different type of powered cars break axles in civics, and i have even seen lower HP cars break gator stage 2's.

so is it the launching technique? preloading the clutch and driveline?

launching, suspension, clutch all of those come into play, but stockers should hold about 250whp.

thats what im figuring. i havent ever bought any aftermarket axles but i am looking for the point when i am going to have to buy some. not like i want to or anything
