Seafoam WTF ?
i know you can put ATF into your intake tract little by little and clean your engine that way, never heard of seafoam tho.
ATF works like a charm tho, its actually a detergent in an oily substance

i've heard nothing but good stuff about seafoam. its mostly used by the domestic guys.
quote:
seafoam which is available in an aresol (sp?) form that can be sprayed into the intake behind the MAF and a liquid version that can be used with a special canister that hooks up to the schrader valve and cleans the injectors as well. It's good stuff
The benefit of Sea Foam over top engine cleaner is that, from what I'm told, Sea Foam can be put into pretty much anything: gas tank, crankcase, transimission, motorcycles applications, two stoke enignes, margarita mix, and a crapload of other stuff.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.

Its really good for cleaning the valves and intake runners. You can pour ATF into your oil it helps clean the inside of the motor itself.
The older carb v8 guys would just pour the top end cleaned down the carb and let it sit for awhile then fire the engine up
