Cable Tranny in EG?
Cable Tranny in EG?
Ok the car is a 94 civic Ex its auto right now,Im converting it to manual but my question is can I use a cable B-series tranny(Swapping in a 95 Ls engine.)But i like cable trannys better. Is there any certain things I would need to make this work or can I use a cable clutch pedal assembly and drill a hole in the firs wall to run the cable for the tranny?any one with any logical answer it will be greatly appriciated Thank you
95 ls engine, if used as reference for tranny, should have a hydro tranny. hasport makes a conversion kit for making a cable tranny work in your car.

I know im supposed to use a hydro tranny..lol but I hate em,And the kit tat hasport has it looks like to me that it turns a cable into a hydro.I like the adjustability on cable trannys that hydro doesnt have.
LOL..No its not like that Im going to rebuild it but is so much nicer being able to adjust the clutch pedal I dont really care about the hydro shit especially the price, but I just want to know if it will work or what I need to do for it to work. Thanks

with the hydro to cable conversion you can NOT adjust the clutch... it still uses your hydro slave cylinder...
