Gas Guage Not Working
Ok i dont know whats going on
i brought a full tank from 7/11 and i dumped injector cleaner from autozone in my tank.
Surprisely i got 210 miles on just a half a tank. i was pretty happy. then when it gets to the second half i only get 83 miles so im like wtf.
I go to the gas station to top off. and it only charged me 9 bucks huh. yup that means i was about a half a tank. now my gas guage reads 3/4 tank when i have a full tank. wtf. what should i do.

It's just a shitty Integra fuel gauge. I could get 200+ out of a half tank.....then 100 out of the second half. But if you put shitty reg. grade Shell gas in it, that could be your culprit. But also, when the handle clicks off, usually you can put another couple gallons in it....or at least I could.

my car has been doing that for about a year. the sensor on the float in your gas tank probably went bad. when i fill up my car, the gas gauge only reads 3/4 full. and when i get on it, it goes down to empty. but the low gas warning light still works perfect so i dont have to worry about being stranded from running out of gas.
btw, i heard you're supposed to be able to go about 30 miles after the gas light comes on.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it.
