its worth it... you sacrifice a little of your daily ride quality, but it pays off at the track.... i wouldnt reccomend stock shocks with it though... Koni yellows all the way....

It sacrifices a more than a little ride quality. I had them on my hatch and it felt like I was driving a dump truck. The kit uses 900lb springs, they are VERY stiff. It did improve my 60ft time.

I wouldn't reccomend those springs for daily driving. I would swap them out with a set of regular skunk2 springs for daily driving. I have a set os used skunk2 springs for sale if you re interested...

Later..

A spring with a 900lb rate will blow out most shocks that are not specifically valved for that high of a spring rate. I don't think standard koni yellows will last too too long.

KJ, that is a point that gets over looked so many times. The abuse that street driving..pot holes, etc. puts on the shocks is crazy. Now add a spring that has such a high rate when compared to the weight of the rear of a fwd car.

I have 700lb springs in the rear of my car, and it is not like the only down fall is a bumpy ride. You have to remember that a softer spring will be more forgiving persay. For example, taking the on ramp from Ulmerton to 275 north, there are some bumps on the ramp.....hit that ramp and 70 with 300 lb spring rates, then go hit it with 900 lb spring rates and tell me what the rear of the car does. If you are not familiar with driving on stiff springs, you better go practice and take it easy. I would get normal spring rates for daily driving then get some 900 rear coils for the track.

if you car weighs like 2100lbs, 900lb rear sprign rate is alot. However, like on a SI or Integra, it isn't that bad, since these car are above 2500lbs.

I used to run 600lb, yet nice and stiff, but ride wasn't that bad vs something like 400lbs.

Overall, what I think. If your at the track 2 times a week and going to events on weekends to make some $$$. Yeah, its worth it, I guess.

But your are sacrificing comfort over stiffness. And if its your daily driver, just don't eat nothing before an hour you get on your car.
