GSR Intake
This weekend I saw for the first time a stock GSR intake (don't ask me from what year engine). I was shown how it had the runners for low and high rpm. The high rpm runners are short and have plates from the plenum in each one (similar to a throttle body) that open during high rpm.
My question is how many of you with GSR motors have kept the stock intake or have swapped it with a different intake.
I hope what I am trying to say and ask here makes sense.
Thanks. Angela

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

they were in the `94 and up GSR manifolds...
this is only to keep it as a nice daily with low end grunt and still move enough air to keep you happy up top...
most people ditch that setup for the skunk2 or similar just to have the intake opened up threw out the power band...
one last thing... just a hint... you can pull the vaccum line off the actuator and it will leave the plates open all the time... just a little free mod for you guys...
