Default Front end converson

I have a 97 civic and i want to update the front to 99-00. I thought it was a bolt on and go kinda thing but my friend told me i would have to change the core support. I was just wondering whats involved in doing this. Thanks.

the core support is not needed, my friend did the same conversion on his car and did not require a 99-00 core support

radiator support is only needed if you want it exactly like oem. my friend did it, no zip ties or anything needed. straight bolt on. outer clips on the grill don't line up so if you want you can drill new holes. but they're not really necessary.
