Since Acura won't clean out my EGR ports, I am just gonna take the intake manifold off myself and clean the whole damn thing since it already has 121k miles of buildup in it.

So I have a few questions:
1. What exactly should I use to clean out the intake runners/ports/EGR ports etc?
2. Do I have to do anything special when I refill my coolant... because I have read stuff about "bleeding the cooling system"?

Any other tips guys?

 

you can use carb/fuel injection cleaner/brake cleaner etc..
or you can take it 2 napa & have them clean it 4 under$20 & will look brand new..
the coolant you canpull the drain plug & flush it w/ a water hose & maybe replace the thermostat......
