Default My Car is making the squeling noise.. can you help me

Hello everyone... If you could help me out with this problem it usually happens when the car is cold or sometimes it just does it even when the car is hot or cold and what happens is that i will be driving around 40-50mph and have the steering wheel straight or slighty turned to the left and all of a sudden it starts to make the squel noise from the back driver side tire its pretty loud and high pitched sometimes its so loud that i can even tell from where its coming from but as soon as i tap on the brakes it goes away but as soon as i let off the brakes it returns with the noise... I have changed my back brakes not too long ago and when i did they started to make noise as i would brake to a stop but that went away and now this.... i would love for any help guys thanks

Brian

how did you compress the rear cylinder? Did you just press it back in or screw it back in?

if you didnt use the right tool to compress it, your caliper might have locked up..

Do you have rear wheel disk brakes.

Did you just squeze the calipers in to put on the new pads, because on hondas you have to turn the rear calipers with a screw driver.
