Default tranny for integra

Well a friend of mine has an automatic in her 94 Integra and wanted to know how much it should be to rebuild her tranny or to buy a new one. Thanks.

Too much. You should try to find a used one. Try www.car-part.com or your local junkyards LMK if you have no luck finding one maybe I can help.

If he's charging so little he probably doesn't know what he's doing. Tell her to call some junkyards and find a used one.

I'm sure he does, she knows him but she was just worried because you know mechanics like to do alot of females.

I paid a little under $1600 to have mine rebuilt at Brandon Transmission.....and that was the going rate at just about every shop.....so $350 isn't gonna get her a rebuild.......just the rebuild kit itself is like $300. Might as well pick one up from Japanese/Eupopean Auto parts or something.
