Default Vtec Engagement Problem

Swapped heads on my car and now I having problems with my vtec.

Car runs fine until 4800 vtec engagement point and then is bogs down.

Every thing is connected ( vss, vtec press switch, and so on)

Checked timing, timing is right and intake cam is +2 degrees.

Need help asap, thanks in advance.

b16a1 block, b16a3 head.
used the same vtec solenoid on my old head and the same vtec pressure switch also. Just bought the new vtec pressure switch like last month.

Just changed oil this afternoon, checked and its full.

Used carb cleaner to clean the vtec solenoid, would this cause a problem?

Compression is perfect.

Car runs very strong until vtec engages

try clearing the ecu and check the code see if they cleared then take off the vtec sil. check the screen make sure its not stoped up if thats fine try to put ure vtec on a switch like ure headlights (12volts) and try that just to see if it kicks in when you turn on ure lights get back to me if it works or not

just took it down the road and floored it to redline and at 4800 vtec kicks in and the car boggs then around 6 the vtec kinda studders then around 7 the vtec starts working properly.

what could cause that, messed up solenoid maybe?
