I have a 92 honda accord ex. I 'm looking for a H22a w/Tranny, i wanted to know if there is any mods i am going to have to do to the car before mounting the engine. I'm looking for a swap because my f22 has 278xxx miles on it so I figure if i'm going to get a new engine anyway it might as well be a better one.

 

I agree with what Keith said... Just do your research and make sure you get the right engine and ecu for your vehicle... and I am assuming your vehicle is already 5 speed so you wont be trying the auto to 5 speed conversion.....

And once again, as Keith said, PM Corey (Accord95), He just did his so hes got a lil bit of knowledge about it that I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing.....

if your car is already a standard then it wont be hard at all. the article by sport compact car was very helpfull.

since i was doing an automatic to manual conversion and didnt have the time to do my swap due to work. i hired colin at racing integration to do it. he is the best swap guy in tampa, in many peoples opinion. expensive, but you get what you pay for. his phone # is above in insanecivic's sig.
