ok today my car stalled out on me, its a automatic, ok heres the story, see i went to Toysrus and such so it started up fine did what the car was suppose to do and all, so im getting ready to leave, fire her up, she idles then dies, then i try to start er back and she wont...took me a couple trys to get er goin again?..wtf?...had my friend with me he was like.. "Bad patch of gas"?(all i ever put in is 93)..kinda pisses me off, its stalled on me once like a month ago and it did it again today?..i dunno...

i hope not, well it all started after i got my exhaust on?, if that helps any...but ill have to check it.

 

It does it once a month??? Sounds like your car is menstruating... Guess its just that time of the month...


But I agree, igniter..... Or it could be something fuel related... maybe your stock pump is seizing, especially if you run it low sometimes, or it could be just a dirty sock (dont know the real name for it) on the fuel pump, or something along those lines...

But first things first, are you getting any check engine codes???

 

after it stalled on me and woulndt start i had the check engine light come on?? if that helps lol, but went away after i started er up...damn and yeah i have ran my tank low at like 2 times before, but not too low where the gas light would come on...shit even my mom was like dont run your tank low when i first got the car, HAHA! .

 

do you still have the original fuel pump in that car???

 

really i have no idea if i do, the car was VERY VERY well maintained when i got it, the couple may have had it changed out, cause everything on the car is clean as hell...got the car from Honda?..so i dunno, ill just have to check it out, i might just go ahead and have it replaced when i get all my oils/fluids done., dont i need a service thingy to check for codes.

 

nah the check engine light will blink in a sequence if you jump it via that little wire hanging over the ecu....
