Stange fuel problem.....

I'm looking under my hood when my car is running, mind you this is at idle, and my guage is pegged at 45psi @ IDLE!!!!! worked the throttle from under the hood and gave it a quick rev, stayed at 45psi, when i turn the car off, it goes down to zero. checked everything fuel related, return, FPR, filter...yada yada yada. my guess is it's just the guage, cause i put the stock regulator back on and it was still pegged at 45psi. any clue?

forgot to mention i have an AEM FPR, took it apart and the diaphragm was fine.

First of all, please, turn "caps lock" off, and second, there is no wires on an underhood fuel pressure gauge....
