could a bad altnator cause your speedometer to stop working.....and chronic all because you gave your opinion doesnt make it correct i would also like other peoples aopinion thats why its called a MESSAGE FORM.....

Fix your VSS, and move from there.
Unless you like not having a Speedometer... in which case you dont deserve a car. I would imagine you're a very unsafe, ricer-type driver.
