yeah those antennas are pieces of shit. I just had my 2nd one go out on me on Thursday so I'm gonna get the black adjustable one (has a swival) from Pep Boys for like $10.00 to hell with the manufacture's part.

well i took my atenna out completely and i did a DIY wiring to a CB antenna that came with my teg on the back of the rear glass. works fine
