Turbo LS. That's going to be the best bang for the buck in that thing.

 

see everyone is on this ls/turbo high. That means custom mounts, Custom axels, complete rewire, and who knows what else. 1 thing you gotta remember is the engine bay is

So you want to stick with a D series then? That's what you kept talking about, but you're not going to get much more with a Z6 or Y8 NA. I guess boost the D series, but i think you'll still have all the same issues.

 

for all that is worth, the ONLY motor that is a direct bolt in to a 1st gen CRX is from a 1st gen Integra. D-series engines require custom mounts too. i researched this a while ago and emailed a few people that had done dseries in a 1 gen and they said that it really isn't worth the effort...a b series fits just as well in the bay and has much more potential. redpepperracing.com has a good deal of info on first gen crx

 

ya I have done all the research practicully possible and I have concluded on doing a 88-89 Integra engne and doing a power adder(turbo). Seems to be the best option. I am gonna focus more on the cleanliness of the car and not as much worried about how fast I can go. I will leave that to the motorcycle. As it is I am going to stick with the simple swap and have fun with the car. Maybe even autocross it. Not gonna get rediculous with the powerplant!

If that car had the stock mirrors on it and go rid of the one wiper deal. That car would look bad at all.
