Default fuel line size

I am going to be taking the stock fuel filter out of my 88 crx b16 and need to know what the internal diameter of the stock rubber fuel line is that runs from the fuel rail to the filter and from the filter to wherever it goes. I am getting rid of the banjo fittings and swapping to AN fittings that will thread up to the new AEM style filter.

also when I hook up AN and n NPT fittings should I use teflon tape or some other sealant?? not sure but makes sense to me that metal to metal isn't the best or we wouldn't have gaskets.

thanks for the help.

i would use 6an lines. anything bigger is not really necessary. and AN fittings do not require teflon tape but NPT threads do

thanks for the info on teflon tape.

I was planning on using stock likes but if its easy to swap out to braided then why not. but how har is it to remove the stock rubber to hard line connection on the firewall and what fitting goes onto the fuel rail?

thanks.

The stock lines are already -6AN feed and return. These lines are good to around 500whp.
