ok, may sound dumb but i was installing my boost gauge, everything is going great until i splice my vacum hose and placed in the t-valve. from then on the car started lobing at idle. so i figured that by puting a conector to make the hose complete again, disconnecting the boost hose. still lobing. bash me but please help at hte same time, its driving me crazy. is this a life threating problem to my car. thanks

you pulled a vaccum line lose or somethin somewhere.... sounds like a vaccum leak to me... where did u cut the line to t in to???

 

right in the middle of the line, between the intake mani and the steel hose. and this is the only thing i touched so its wierd. would it help if i was to reset my ECU? thanks

what steel hose are you talkin about? what does it go to? from the intake manifold to ________ .......

 

hmmm, to a little box, right above the wheel well. not sure how to explain. basically i cut the vacum hose in half.

 

was i wrong about splicing the vacum line for the boost? thanks for the insight. pm sent 92cxhatch.
