Default turbo on stock motor

i am installing my turbo on the 19th and was wondering if it was safe/doable to leave the fuel management alone for about a week, until i can build up money. also the motor is a 97 sh prelude, the wastegate that i have is a tial 35 mm, but has a 12lb spring. i currently do not have a boost controller is this safe. also once on the car how long do i need to wait until i can fully boost and floor it? thanks

Do not boost at all on any stock fuel system, I mean I hope you at least have a FMU or something, but If you boost with nothing but stock fuel, your motor won't last long enough to get it tuned or get some sort of fuel managment. -Ben
