Hey big boy his 1st post said:
"do i need a b20 computer and what kind of axels, and mounts"

Then InsaneCivicSedan recommended hasport mounts for some odd reason. I agree they are good mounts but they are overkill on an OEM b20 swap.

Hence my reply of: Why would he need a hasport mount kit ?
As you can see he didn't know he could use OEM motor mounts.

Yes that is correct, use all OEM mounts & a 99-00 civic si rear lower mount bracket. Also to retain A/C use a 94-95 DOHC vtec delsol ac bracket.

Depending on what b20 motor you have, you may need a different intake manifold, but that will be obvious by looking at your motor.

Any 94-01 integra or 99-00 civic si axles will work, they are all the same part number at NAPA.

Concerning your ecu a obd1 ecu with a obd2a to obd1 conversion harness will work or obd2a p75 computer will work etc...

Btw, I hope you know you need a bseries tranny i.e. ls or b16 tranny etc..

Check out some helpfull links I have on the site in my signature.

If he plans to make any kind of power in the future I say better to do it now because once the motor is in its a pain in the ass to change mounts... Im goin through it now wishing i wouldve just got hasports to start with, its a matter of opinion i guess....

Changing mounts is not that big of a deal with the proper tools i.e. air tools & jacks etc.

Running hasport mounts all the way around will make his car feel like a vibrator

If he plans on making a lot of power with the b20, he will more then likely have to pull the motor out for internal modifications.
At this time he could then install aftermarket mounts with ease if needed.

I am trying to save him money & fustrations from a vibrating cabin etc...

A rear 99-00 si lower mount is about $50-60.
He would need this mount regardless if he went with the hasport kit or not.
An ac bracket from a 94-95 dohc vtec delsol is $100-110 this mount would be required to retain the civic a/c compressor.

Yes this is true but you have to admit, it would be alot of fun to take a chick for a ride in a vibrating car....

Like I said, I was just stating personal opinion for if he had the extra money to play with....

yes i know i have to use a b-series tranny....and as far as the A/C goes, i yanked all that out when i first got the car this car is extremly gutted.....its a 4door, no backseats or brackets for them. no back dash no noise dampener, no carpet no door panels in the rear, no seat belt brackets...onley thing in the back besides the body of the car is a rear strut bar...engine bay is as minimal as possibly....no a/c no p/s...but anyways...i thank all of you for your info and opinions....ill prolly just use the stock mounts....oh and by the way i dont have the motor yet...where can i find one cheap, or at a decent price?

Sorry if inturupted you guys conversaion but i thought i would put my word in.i did an ls swap into my 97 civic and my mounts r just find. the rear mount was 58 dollars from the honda dealer. The driver side monuts it just fine. i havent had any problems. and i know that this might be outside of the subject and all the question but if u have lowering spring or coilovers u might want to plan on lifting it up cuz i learn the hard way and ripped a big hole in my oil pan because of some dibre that was on the crosstown from all the consruction.

Trust me you didn't interrupt the conversation. Do you know why you didn't interrupt the conversation? BECAUSE IT ENDED MORE THAN A MONTH AGO.
