Here are the rules if you want to participate.
New Street Class for 2004
The NDRA announces the formation of a new class for the 2004 season. The new class will be called the Power Street Class. Racers in this class will be allowed to run FWD 1 power adder 4 cylinders, FWD naturally aspirated 6 cylinders, as well as RWD naturally aspirated Rotories, 4 and 6 cylinders.The cars in this class will be required to run in drag radials and must retain the stock look of the vehicle. So, when You look at these cars in the pits, expect to see full interiors, full bodies, working safety equipment and a stock fuel tank.
There will be pay-outs and contingency awards at all events for this new class as well as a chance to run for a National Championship. This class will truly be for the daily driver, and the owner who wants to run it heads up on the weekend. Good luck to all the racers, and we hope to see You at the track.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
