its a d16, prob a z series. I was measuring heavy fluctuation between 0.9V and0.1-0.2V at idle. At WOT, it pegged 0.9V
Sound normal? It looks normal compared to my srt.

hrm......reading out of the manual here.....

Resest your ECM, start engine and run it at 3,000 RPm until the radiator fan kicks on, then check the voltage. If it stays at .1V or less, check your fuel pressure. if your fuel pressure is normal check for a short in the PHO2S line by disconnecting ECM Connector D and check for continuity between PHO2S (Connector 4P) and the chassis ground, if there is continuity, repair the short in the wire, otherwise subsititute a known good ECM and recheck, if the indication goes away, replace the original ECM.

however, if you're voltage at idle is varying (.1V and UP) this considered intermittent failure, and the system is ok at this time. check for poor connections and/or loose wires at C123 and at the ECM.

if your fuel pressure is in the dumpster, repair the fuel supply system, this could mean, FPR, Fuel Pump, Injectors, and your EVAP control valve, it's also good to check your fuel lines for possible corrosion too. if you have a fuel pressure guage, your stock system should be running anywhere between 38-46 psi with the vaccuum line taken off the regulator and pinched. when the vaccuum line is reconnected you should be running at 28-36psi to be within spec. if fuel pressure is higher than noted, check for a pinched or clogged return and for a faulty FPR. if pressure is lower than spec, check for a clogged fuel filter, faulty FPR and fuel line breakage.

So is it intermittent failure or is the system OK?

intermittent failure, the system is ok at this time. check for loose cables and poor connections (ie connector's not on all the way or corrosion.)

hehe...well thre are no opens. I replugged all ecm harness conenctions etc etc. It still jumps all up down and around.

Got a gun and set my timing yesterday, smakc on 16deg.
Dont have a Fuel Gauge, but I unplugged the FPR vavuum line and capped it......car runs purrfect. Started great this morning, idles perfect cold. I will monitor it this evening.

Thanks for the help so far !!
