Default problem wit axle

i have a b-series intermediate shaft and a 99-00 civic si axle. For some reason it is very hard to get the axle all the way on. It stops at a certain point and wont go any further. I was wonderin if it is supposed to be this hard?

you maywant to check each and every spline because i had one on my axel that had a dent in spot that was keeping it from going in and i had to file the side smooth again to get it to slide in.

are you using axel grease if you don't have the lock ring lined up just right you will have problems you HAVE to use axle grease to keep it in place
