Castrol GTX 10w30..... Synthetic isnt really worth it in my opinion as some people believe it causes premature and excessive wear on turbo seals.....

I would think to keep using synthetic because it doesn't break down or burn as easy as dino oil... since the turbo runs hotter than a normal engine.

I used 5w30 in my DSM. Mobil One of course, though i've heard that it does wear seals down faster.

dont use synthetic on a turbo'd honda.... Trust me... I used Castrol syntec, smoke, switched to non synthetic, no more smoke... Somehow it finds its way through the seals and decreases the life of the seals...

my findings on oil were to not use synthetics, as most synthetics are highly lacking in their addition of zinc, which helps protect metal-metal contact. i have used castrol gtx as long as i've had a set of keys (a few intermittant exceptions along the way).
