I really like the 94ish body style preludes, I would rock one as a daily driver... actually... no I wouldn't I'd fucking turbo it and blow it up.... 
But seriously, it depends on what you're looking for. If you want acceleration, the heavy prelude probably isnt what you'll be wanting to do. Go with the prelude if you like the body and don't mind it being a fifteen second car.

My Prelude with nothing more than a jdm h22 and hot air intake pulled 14.7's all day long hot lapping it at the first tr track day. With basic bolt-on's it was a consistent low 14 second car. I've seen 4th gens (92-96) with basic bolt-on's and full interior pull high 13's. I think that's respectable for what it is.. But thats just me...
