TB and Starter question HELP

The car: A CRX w/Cable OBD-0 B16 swap.

A starter and throttle body/tps sensors from a 90 Integra should work, correct?

The kid I sold the starter to said this thing did not work, that the starter would not catch the flywheel. Has anyone had this problem?
