The LS crank has a true 1.8L spec. The GSR is slightly lower. As far as compression goes, it all depands on the pistons and what head your using.

If your all about the 1/4 times, you need more torque.

So in short, how much does he want me to sell me the GSR block?

GSR + Turbo > LS + Turbo.

If he just has the GSR BLOCK, he needs a complete GSR head, you can't bolt up a GSR block to an LS head....

I am sure you could custom fabricate a GSR/NONVTEC setup but, its just stupid to even think about doing it...

gsr pistons would raise the compression a half a point at the most and wouldnt be worth the time and money. drop in a complete gsr long block or build the ls
