I have a 96 civic hatch and i swapped a sir2 b16 into it. I wired everything and timed it. I also have no codes. My engine idles fine but when u try to rev it it just dies out at like 3500. It wont go pass 5000 rpms at all. Does anyone know what my problem is cuz it would really help me out.

i believe he has the jdm b16 ecu that eh got with the swap

wouldnt my check engine light be on if my tps was bad or damaged?

 

yes it will IF u jump the wires from the plug

The plug is on the bottom right side of you glove box you have to reach up and pull it down should be in a litle rubber holder thing but I wouldnt recommend doing it unless you know which plug is the right one.
