h22a prelude: hard to start, no power when cold

Default h22a prelude: hard to start, no power when cold

k whenever its cold outside, the car takes a while to start and until i let it warm up for like 10-15 minutes it has no power at all, like ill floor it and it boggs down like hell, BUT when it gets right in the middle of H and C it runs perfect and strong as hell.. im thinkin either fuel filter or fuel pump.. dunno though, someone tell me what it could be if u know plz.. thanks guys

nope, im thinkin its the fuel filter is clogged, cause ur suppose to change them every so often and mine has not been changed since like 6 months before the swap.. lol

i was hoping u would respond cronic

Check fuel pressure, fuel filter, plugs etc..
I have heard of main relays acting up in wierd weather... so if you cant figure it out, try a new MR.

wouldsnt start if it was the MR tho, most of the tip they get sticky in cold weather, never heard of them fluxating on/off and i'm sure he would notice the effect that would cause on the driving experience. Def check oyur fuel pressure. Also replace cap/rotor/plugs and possibly the ign wires.

ya thats what im doin, new plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor, fuel filter, and throwin in the walbro 255lhp fuel pump while im workin on it lol
