Default Cams, Cam Gears, Timing Belt

i will be changing the cams in my 92 LS, i will be using crower 403's i want to change cam gears but i dont know wut to use, and people have been saying i need to change my timing belt is this tru or wut? is there an after market timing belt that yall would perfer to you or use an OEm honda timing belt lemme know .... thanks.....

if your timing belt shows excessive wear on the teeth its definitely time to replace it. and its also recommended that it gets changed ever ~80k miles. it would be a it easier to do it when u install the cames because ud be half way there anyway. oh and just use an oem

Stock is fine though Toda and PE offer stronger replacements.
I also hope you have a Helms manual and a good low range torque wrench if you plan on doing it yourself.

Use a oem timing belt, you will be fine.
The only time you really need an upgraded timing belt is when you run heavy duty valve springs & cams combined.

Camshaft installation usually costs anywhere from $150-250 at most shops depending on weather or not you are changing your timing belt also.

i am gonna do it all at once cams, cam gears and belt would you prefre to change the belt just incase ?
