Default hollowed cat

on my 93' Accord, I had a clogged cat so I hollowed it out, and it made a real crappy tinny sound. to combat that, I put a length of pipe through the cat, so it is essentially a straight pipe. The onyl problem that I have now is that it makes a real bad noise, kind of like the exhaust is leaking. I think that it might be coming from the pipe echoing of the inside wall of the cat. Does anyone know of any ideas to stop this noise without spending any money? To add one more variable to equation, the bolts are almost stripped, and probably won't take a few more loosennigs and tightenings.

To make life easy. Save up $50-100 and take your car to Rainbow muffler or Ice cold air. They will take care of you.

Straight-pipe it!

You've got too many parts in there, keep it simple.
