If your going to use a gsr Block with LS internals you are going to have a very small amount of machine work done to make it work but its definately the better setup in my opinion

I think putting ls internals in a gsr block is a waste of money.

Pick one or the other. Oil squiters arnt that big of a deal.

just keep up on oil changes and take care of the car..

The people complaining of ls/vtec not being reliable are the people going 10,000 miles between oil changes reving it to redline all the time and just genrally totaly beating the shit out of the car.

If your a jit then use a gsr, if you can contol your foot and the up keep on the car why not get the extra power the ls is offering?

Right now there is a type R block in my car... and compared to the built ls/block i had in there. This thing feels like a dog...... probably could get low 14's out of it.. other block was good for 13.8s easy.

Ive had both and would def rather do the ls/vtec set up any time.

Pick up a GSR bottom end, stroke it, then tell me what u think about your LS vtec.... stroker motors and motors with a bigger bore will always make more power. period. just ask all the domestic guys ....

stroke it with what? What crank what rods? what bore? what pistons.

Stroking isnt cost effective in comparison to ls/vtec thats why it is so useful it is cheap. can use all honda parts.
