why??
I was checking the compression calculator... and can't understand why if i were to add jdm itr pistons to my LS it would drop compression?? if i add b16 pistons it will up compression?? please explain....
You are not using the calculator correctly.
USDM ls motors are 9.2:1
JDM ITR pistons would put you at 10.1:1 on a stock ls motor (ls head and block assembly.)
JDM CTR pistons would put a stock ls longblock up to 11.4:1

They have a higer dome, it's common sense man.
And yes, it's safe, but from talking to the people i have it seems that the B16A pistons are the best bet as they are safER and lighter, which is much better.
