hey whats going on TR alrigth i have 1991 dx crx and im sick of only haveing 92HP and no vtec so i want to do a mini me with a d16z6 head and i wanted to know if anyone out there know evrything that i need becuase i need to start pricing everything thanks for any infomation

 

U need to convert it to Si
then u need a si dizzy, intake mani,injectors & resister box,
vtec head & head gasket & take the oil jet out of the dx block
then u need 2 activate the vtec w/ an msd activatio switch..& relay..
done this set up alot if u need help

you also need a si ECU .

 

Get a vtec ecu...do not do it the ghetto way and have an activator switch.

 

also have the hell do u hook up a tach becuase there are like 4 wires and i dont know where they go i have a 1991 dx crx thanks

 

Get a gauge cluster with a tach.

 

red wire-12 volt switched
black wire-negative
white wire-illumination(i never used it)
grenn wire-tach lead. On a honda, it is the blue wire behind the gauge cluster.
