ok i just put in a 91 crx si tranny and i took it for a test drive and it was fine but in the way back it didn't want to go in 3rd or 2nd...got to my house and now it won't go in any gear ( just grinds) i can start it in gear but as soon as i turn the key over the car starts to roll...anybody have any idea what this may be

 

Clutch is bad.

nah it was fine with my other tranny i had......then i blew my diff and changed out trannys...now it grinds...do u think it could be the throwout bearing

 

Well if the clutch is new the t/o bearing should be as well.

 

i just used the throw out bearing the the new tranny cause it all felt fine when i drove it in this kids car

 

Oh, well get a new one and try it out.

Not that i can think of, but i don't have that much experience with tranny stuff.
