what do you guys think about this turbo manifold
this is the ss auto chrome turbo manifold, equal length. give me some feedback. im deciding on whether i should go with this manifold or the cast

yeah thats the general response that i have been hearing. a buddy of mine has one on his ls vtec turbo hatch. im waiting so see what happens to his. he also made a bracket that holds the manifold in place. he did some research and found out that the manifold cracked for the most part because the turbo was weighing it down. if you get what im saying. im just so tempted to get it for the price. 170 shipped. shit i cant even find a drag or rev hard d series cast manifold. let alone at that price. what cha think?

Friend of mien has 1 on his 400hp sr20 so it should be ok for me. the thign is, the manifold puts the turbo very far away from the head, which if you kno about physics, ptus alot of stress on the welds clsoe to the head. Do not put a heavy ass turbo, with a full exhaust on it, that will put even mroe weight on the manifold which will cause it to crack. Brace the downpipe on yoru block and properly mount your exhuast and u will be fine. also use a flex section! motro flex w/out a flex puts alot of stress on the manifold too! Its 10 guage steel.
Also, if you look in the pcis, you will notice that there is alot of space between the block and the turbo. I test fitted my a/c i nthere and it fits! My pwoer steering fits too so i will be adding those back in shortly
my friend used that manifold and it cracked in every spot possible i had one and he convinced me not to use it like Vito_Corleone let him reweld and reinforce braces underneath it my manifold had braces under it
