sleeve block and block gaurd?

Default sleeve block and block gaurd?
Is there anyone out there using a block guard with your sleeved Block. I just want to know is necessary or just redundant? Oh yea. It's for an h22a4.

pointless. even open deck sleeves like Bensons and RS do not require any cylinder bracing
