Default Smoke out exhaust ???????????

I'm new to TR and was wonderin if anybody could help me figure out what the actual cause is. Around christmas break I blew an exhaust valve, the car was already smoking at this point but only when I slammed on the gas. Me and a couple of friends re-built the whole head and put it back on the car. Now it smokes worse than even and the only answer I get from people is that I didnt machine the head before I put it back on. If this is true does anybody know any good machine shops??( I heard Clearwater Cylinder Head is good) Any help would be appreciated

You didnt machine thehead before you installed it ?
That doesnt make much sence...
You mean you didnt mill the head before reinstalling it to make sure the surface was true ?

What kind of smoke are you seeing?
White smoke i.e. h20 ?
Blue/Gray i.e. oil ?
Black i.e.. fuel ?

It could be a lot of things causing smoke issues such as:
Piston Rings, Valve Seals, Head Gasket is blown etc...

its blue/gray smoke, I know its oil that its burning cause before and after it blew it was burnin up my oil as fast as my gas. And yes I meant I didnt get it milled to true. Somebody mentioned to me that it might be the valve guides.

you need more than just the head milled, you need to have the valve guides redone and the valves reseated because you bent a valve damage was most likely done within the head itself.

+1 for complete head rebuild

someone has mentioned EngineLab before for use of a machine shop.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I've rebuilt the head once already and am willing to do it again, If somebody can hook it up with a number to a machining shop and what I need to ask for that would be great. Once again thanks to everybody for the help.

lol nissans suck j/k they are nice cars...

Your best bet at this point is to have your motor rebuilt or buy a complete longblock with a good history.

Machine shops:
Clearwater Cylinder Head
Engine Lab Of Tampa
