Default Help with tires....

I need new tires and i am wondering which one of the three you peps might think is good....i already have the Kumho 711's on my car and they have been a great tire for the low cost of them.

The tires i am debating on are :

Kumho 711's
Kumho 712's
Yokohama AVS es100

let me know what you think

Yoks are awsome but they dont last very long

If you dont plan on driving like a nut, stick to cheap street tires like kumos.

Ive always loved the yoko's pricey but good performance tires. Mainly a good summer tire. Ive had these tires before for about 12,000 and sold them. I drive hard on my tires, in the rain I have caught myself to be careful they do hydroplane but then iam a aggressive driver. Ive known them to be quiet tires to unlike my a032r's that i just bought, sound like truck tires very soft tire=sticky

I dont know to much of the 712 but they are another popular tire. I think these two are about equal in what they offer.

I currently run matador aquillas I got on a close out deal. I have ran 2 sets of these on 2 of my cars...

They totaly own for the price I paid for them ($120 for all 4)
http://www.matador.sk/

You can get these tires for about $45 each or so from Guy at a&e.
They are matador aquilla mp41 195-50-15 I believe.

I personally like them because they handle well in dry conditions as well as rain. They do not wear quickly nor do they cost a lot
These tires also did well for me at the track at about 18 psi of tire pressure hooking up even with 5k launches

Put the Yoko Parada Spec 2's on my Si 10/02...about 22k mi ago. They are a little niosy <25 mph or so but they are wearing really, really well (keep on top of that pressure!) and they stick like crazy, where it counts...IN THE CORNERS....where the thrills are! Weren't cheap tho...mounted and highspeed balanced $700/4 OUCH! But I carry a shit eatin' grin into a curve...

falken azenis, or kuhmo exta mx's discussion closed....the 2 grippiest (cornering) street tires on the market period, and they are both very reasonably priced. do not buy them if you are planning on them sticking for drag racing...they dont their sidewalls are REALLY stiff, honestly i could launch harder on some shitty million mile radial than on those tires, but when it comes to cornering there is no better tire without going R compound.
