Default boed or charged?

i have an '04 s2 and it's been suggested to me that i turbo the engine vs. the much more common supercharger. the compression is high (11.1:1) but i could up that some. sleaving the block is a must for either and i plan on new internals. so that brings me to the question, boed or charged? any s2 owners that are not n/a? what has fried in your engine? thanks for feedback!

Well, if you're doing the internals anyway, it seems like a pretty simple answer to me. . . Turbo.

i am looking to have 400+ hp - i want to run around 11 sec in the1/4. i want to go fast! but this is a daily driver! i think that i can do that either way but i would like feedback on the problems that may occur when charging or adding turbo to the engine. what have you blown up in your boed or charged engine?what companies should i consider for a turbo kit, front mount, blow off valve, ect? practical and efficent is important not $! thanks!

wow, an f22? hadn't seen one yet.
i vote for turbo, the centrifugal blowers on the stooks make nice peak numbers but aren't so great for the traps, the motor needs low end power, and no eaton unit i know of has been designed for f series yet.

like vito said, if you plan on doing internals, go with a turbo. you'll have a lot of room to expand.
