Default h22 axles

are people breaking the half shafts as well as the axles on a h22 in a eg civic? if i order aftermarket axles do i get the 90-93 accord half shaft and the 90-93 teg axles as if i were using the stock accord and teg axles and half shaft? just wanted to clear that up.

thanks

i didnt break any axels in my turbo setup...the only time your going to have problems is when you slam the car on the ground.in the eg the axels allready have a slight pitch, because the motor dosn't sit far enough back in the bay,but when you slam it on the ground, they are not only slanted back but also down..it gives it like a wobble effect.

i want it pretty low if course, just my taste. i was thinking about getting like gator axles to play it safe. they have them in 300, 400, and 500whp ratings if i remember right? it would be good to go with those right? also what kind of driving did you do? i want to be able to launch however and not have to worry.

you still have to worry about the angle of the axle, its going to wobble if you pound your car.its causes a vibation, then shit will start to break,and/or lossen.

i had a hcp mount kit,and i still didnt pound my ride.oh ya get some 5 way adjustables for the front,or it will ride like shit imo.

h22a swap in an eg does not like to be real low no matter what axles you put on there. The angles get all messed up. I could tell you how to fix it but it requires alot of work. I've setup this swap on several cars that were not real low and we were able to run oem axles with no problems and no clicking in u-turns. With a real low car we had to use shortened 89 teg axles and it still had axle geometry problems.
