Default Problem starting my car...

Hey everyone,
This is my problem. I turn the key all the way over to start my car, and it does nothing for about 2-3 seconds. After this period of time, it cranks over like it normally would. It seems like the equivalent of the signal being delayed getting to the starter. There is no struggle to crank the car once it decides it wants to crank lol, so the battery and starter seemed to be ruled out by default, any suggestions?

MAtt

Make sure your battery & engine grounds are good & are not dirty etc.
