I abandoned this project to go with a turbo because I could not get the desired A/F ratios as you can see. It would have made more like 220whp if the horsepower hadn't dropped off like that due to the way overly rich condition. This was with a D16Y8 and ZEX dry kit.

What else did you have to do to your car so you wouldn't blow the motor running a 75 on it.

All you need is a Walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump, colder spark plugs, and retard ignition 3-4 deg to run a 75 shot.

do internals, port and polish the head, fuel pump, injectors, plugs and a direct port if u can afford it. then spray the shit out of it! spend a few g's on mods and sleave the block! now that's alot of nitrous!

Why would you sleeve the block for just a nitrous setup? Stock sleeves easily hold to around the 400-500whp range.

it would be fine, dont run more then 75 on stock internals though...my friend used to have an intake, header, exhaust, and a cam gear w/ a dry zex kit in his sohc vtec civic and rana 15.1 at the track all day...the motor never ran shitty...youll be happy with your results...

Walbro 255 is overkill for a sohc on nitrous.
Without a GOOD fuel pressure regulator the walbro 255 will not allow you to regulate your fuel pressure to a sohc level in my experience...

I recommend a factory fuel pump with a b&m fuel pressure regulator or aem fuel pressure regulator.

I also recommend a WET kit with a set of plugs that can handle nitrous such as ngk7 series plugs. The reason being is I personally like wet kits better TO each is own.

Retarding your timing depends on how much you plan on spraying. The nitrous kit will probably recommend 2-4 deg of timing retardation.

Stock internals will be fine up to a 75 shot.
I personally wouldnt run more then a 55 dry shot on my daily driven sohc without putting it on a dyno.

I highly recommend taking your vehicle to a dyno to safely spray a 75 shot on a sohc.
