k series?
The top-of-the-line RSX Type S has a 200 horsepower 2.0 litre i-VTEC engine. The Type S engine has a more sophisticated continuously-variable valve timing system that uses variable timing on both intake and exhaust valves.

lololol ok now can i get some real answers. I know what the specs on the motors are my g/f has a base rsx. I wanted to know what internals are different in the s? She wont drive stick and it would be nice to have the one of the first auto type s's around
... i mean for that is
As told to me by the a car salesman: The RSX Type S has a 1 stage intake manifold and i-vtec(vtec as well as vtc:variable timing control) on both the intake and exhaust side. The RSX has the same engine as the '02-'04 Si, it has a dual stage intake manifold and vtec on the intake side only.

maybe you dont understand what Im saying. MY G/F HAS A 2004 RSX AUTOMATIC. I want to know what can be done to make it up to spec with a type s. She will not drive stick its HER car. i just wanted to fool around a little and see what kinda mods were talking about. I know type s does not come in auto, read my posts before posting again and telling me to buy a type s

that's all i had to go on, shit from those posts it sounded like you were gonna try to jesse james a type s to have an auto tranny. but i apologize in any case. cool air intake systems yeild sometimes 20 hp on the k-series, they like cold air very much. also, there are some manufacturers out there right now that make a very good header for the rsx. as far as internals go, if you really want to go all out do a set of Toda's, AEM CAI, DC Header, Cat-back system and be done with it, then you should be putting out about the same if not more than a type s.
