Noise on my Engine
Noise on my honda 4 door. My step-father thinks it sounds like a bearing but he doesn't know much on foreign cars. Was wondering if someone could help me out.

A spun bearing/rod knocking sounds the same on all piston engines. If you are talking about a tapping it very well may be the valves, that's a commong Honda thing. Describe what you're talking about a little bit more thouroughly.

it almost sounds like chains...its not a very loud sound. But it is very noticible when idiling. Also does it when I step on the gas hard.

However...
Does the noise sound deep, or shallow in the motor? Is it a light tapping sound in the head, or is it a deep knocking sound in the block?
