Default 14b turbo on 88 crx si

has anyone built a home made turbo kit using a 14b 1g eclipse turbo on a 1988 crx si? I was told that the wastegate acuator wont clear the block??? is this true? if so whats the best way to deal with this? should i die grind some of the block to make way for the wastegate? or is there a way to extend the exhaust bolts and make some sort of spacer for the exhaust manifold?

thanxs

Get a braided one to handle pressure.Street Performance(571-0500)sells them at a reasonable price. He also has all the fitting u need to install it.
