Default Clickin and a Clackin

I got me some noises guys. I have a clack and clack in my front end during any type of first gear acceleration or when ever i go over any speed bump or similar road hazard. Its a low speed thing nothing at high speeds unless i dont shift and punch it real hard. I have replaced driveaxles and the shocks. My front tranny mount is kinda tore up could this be the culprit, what do you guys think.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

if its not the mount then it may be the inner/outer tie-rods/steeringrack
you can get polyurathane inserts for the front & back mount from
Automotive engineering for less than $25 bucks........

FIrst and prolly the only time ill agree with you

Do you launch it hard like dump the clutch at extreme RPMS ? check your steering rack, and steering column, tie rods ends usually dont clank unless they are broken. Check under the car at the rubber mounting points, youd know if the mount was bad youd see it but if its hitting hard enough it could clank. is it metal on metal or a thud sound ? Id reccomend having a Shop look at it if somethings broken it could not very safe to drive.

No pull ...and no its not anything on the rack or the tie rods they have been checked must be that damn mount then. The sound is more of a metal on metal click.

well no pull cankinda rule out the rack and tie rods SORTA a metal on metal clank could be axles ! or tranny. My cavalier did that. after hard launhes the hubs wore out and the splines got worn. Started clicking like shifting I could raise the car and grab the wheel and turn it back and forth and get a CLICK CLICK CLICK.
Id haveto hearit and locate the noise its hardto say without hearing it. look for loose bolts on the mounts. or the exhaust ! dont ask just check the hangers and the lower part of the mannifold.
